Does my ring symbol mean anything? What kind of stone is it? PICS?

I do make out a sun but I can't see the stone clearly. Usually symbolic items have an explanation card attached telling the purchaser what the symbol and stone are supposed to mean. If yours doesn't have one then I'd assume it's just a generic souvenir.
